Olympic Gold medalist Morolake Akinosun was born in Lagos, Nigeria on May 17, 1994. At two years old, Morolake and her family migrated to the United States, moving to the Chicagoland area. After setting both state and national track records throughout high school and college, Morolake signed with Nike Athletics in 2016, something that has always been her dream. Most recently, Morolake competed in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where she took home a Gold medal in the 4 x 100-meter relay. At only 22, this track star’s journey has only just begun, and she can’t wait to take you with her.
